Sergio Agüero, Álvaro Negredo, Philippe Coutinho, Ross Barkley and Riyad Mahrez the most dropped players!
Sergio Agüero, Álvaro Negredo, Philippe Coutinho, Ross Barkley and Riyad Mahrez are the five most dropped players in Fantasy Football this week.
The removal of Agüero is logical due to his suspension whilst Negredo is an interesting one as he started well with a goal and a couple of assists but has since dropped in form.
Coutinho got off to an incredible start but was rested for last weekend’s win against Leicester City but it could turn out to be a mistake transferring the Brazilian as he’s likely to be recalled for this one.
Barkley has not had a great start to the season – he didn’t make Big Sam’s first England squad and after his poor display against Sunderland Ronald Koeman, his manager, said: “There is ‘no escape’ from how far his standards dropped.”
Mahrez comes as a real surprise as he has picked up 13 points already this season and on Wednesday evening he scored twice as his Leicester team beat Club Brugge 3-0 on their debut in the competition.
After scoring some serious points Watford’s Etienne Capoue, West Ham’s England international Michail Antonio, Everton’s hat-trick hero Romelu Lukaku, Spurs’ Kyle Walker and Chelsea’s Diego Costa are the five players who have been most transferred in.
With the Hornets playing Manchester United on Sunday it will be interesting to see if Capoue can score again.
Antonio will be looking to add to his 31 points when the Hammers travel to West Brom and hat-trick hero Lukaku’s Everton host Middlesbrough in the late game on Saturday.
Spurs will play Sunderland on Sunday which could see Walker enjoy another clean sheet and Chelsea have a difficult game against Liverpool on Friday.
Some of the other games during the weekend have Arsenal travelling to Hull, Leicester at home to Burnley and Bournemouth travel to Manchester City.
