With the last game before the next international break it’s important to pick the right captain and one of Sergio Aguero, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexis Sanchez, Philippe Coutinho and Romelu Lukaku are possible candidates.

Manchester City were held to a surprise 3-3 draw on against Celtic on Wednesday and Aguero failed to score but he is still worth considering as your skipper – especially considering he has scored 11 times in seven games and has 37 points.

Manchester United host bottom of the table Stoke City on Sunday when means a certain Swede could be a great option for captain! Ibrahimovic scored end a run of five games without a goal last night when he scored in his team’s 1-0 win against Zorya – this was his sixth goal in ten appearances.

Sanchez has scored three times in his last four league matches and has 46 points to his name – he is not just about the goals … he also has three assists so far this season. With a trip to Burnley on Sunday he could be your man!

Liverpool travel to struggling Swansea and with Liverpool scoring for fun then maybe you should look at Coutinho – the young Brazilian has scored three times this season and collected 41 points of which 14 came last weekend. After a week without any games he’s also likely to be fresh!

Lukaku has been declared fit to face Crystal Palace tonight and with home advantage there is no reason he won’t add to his tally of four goals this season which makes him a solid candidate to be made captain. So far he has 34 points and has been selected by 20% of people which mean you could pick up points that others will miss out on!
